The lens behind the work

Psychology and neuroscience, applied to PMM.

Every positioning decision is really a bet on how a specific brain, under specific constraints, makes a decision. I read messaging the way a behavioural scientist would: what does this ask of working memory, what does it anchor, what does it make the reader feel they might lose. I ground that reading in real research (Tversky and Kahneman on anchoring, Kahneman on loss aversion and prospect theory, Miller and Sweller on cognitive load) rather than intuition alone, and it shapes how I approach positioning, messaging hierarchy, and even how a homepage should route four different buyers to four different answers.

This is the throughline behind both teardowns below: a homepage trying to serve everyone at once is, literally, asking too much of any single reader's working memory.

A free companion site with the research papers, frameworks, and practical tips behind this approach is coming soon.

Positioning Teardown

Qure.ai

Why a WHO-recommended, FDA-cleared AI healthtech company is leaving conversion on the table: four buyer types, one homepage, zero specificity.

Closing insight: Qure.ai does not have a credibility problem, it has a routing problem. What is missing is a homepage that treats a hospital, a health ministry, an NGO partner, and a radiologist as four different people.

Messaging Revamp

Muvi Playout

Before-and-after messaging analysis for Muvi's cloud playout product: gap analysis, ICP segmentation, and a decision playbook.

Closing insight: Muvi Playout has already segmented its buyers in the navigation, it just has not written for that split yet. The messaging has not caught up to the product's own architecture.
